2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Contact form submissions: Name, email address, phone number, project type, and project description.
• Lead capture form: Name, email address, and optional phone number submitted to receive an estimate by email.
• AI chat conversations: Messages you send, files you upload (photos, PDFs, plans), and property addresses you enter for lookup.

Information Collected Automatically

• Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the Site.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.

We do not collect payment card information through this Site. Any future payment processing will be handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your project inquiries and provide estimates.
• To send you the AI-generated estimate you requested via email.
• To contact you about scheduling a free on-site estimate or follow-up questions about your project.
• To improve the AI estimating tool and our services.

We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. AI Tool & Third-Party Processing

Our AI estimating tool is powered by Anthropic (claude.ai). When you use the AI chat — including uploading files or entering an address — your input may be transmitted to Anthropic’s API for processing. We have configured the tool to use your data only to generate responses and not for model training. Anthropic’s privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

Address lookups use publicly available data from the DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer (citizenatlas.dc.gov) and the DC GIS open data service. No personal data is shared with these services beyond the address you submit.

Emails are delivered via Resend. Your email address and the content of your estimate are transmitted to Resend for delivery. Resend’s privacy practices are governed by their Privacy Policy at resend.com.

5. Files You Upload

Photos, PDFs, and other files you upload to the AI estimating tool are transmitted to our server and to Anthropic’s API solely to generate your estimate. We do not permanently store uploaded files on our servers. Files are processed in memory and discarded after the AI response is generated. Do not upload files containing sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, etc.) that is unrelated to your construction project.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions and lead capture information are retained for up to 2 years to enable follow-up on potential projects. AI chat session data is not persistently stored by us beyond the session. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us.

7. Cookies & Tracking

This Site uses only essential technical cookies required for the Site to function. We do not currently use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools that track you across websites. If this changes, we will update this policy and provide appropriate notice.

8. Children’s Privacy

This Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
